NÜM vs FRE: Strengths, Flavors and Pouch Count
NÜM nicotine pouches are for adults 21+ who already use nicotine. FRE and NÜM both put 20 pouches in a can and both sell 100 pouches in one pack, but FRE spans a wider range of low and mid strengths while NÜM goes higher at the top. This page compares them on facts you can verify, with no claims about quality or health.
NÜM is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by FRE. FRE is a trademark of its owner and is named here only to identify the product being compared.

FRE's strengths, flavors, pack sizes and format description come from FRE's own site, its shop page and its brand comparison article. FRE's shop page also mentions a Smooth flavor, and its Sweet flavor is listed only in 9mg, 12mg and 15mg.
Pouch count and pack size
The can count is the same: 20 pouches. The larger format is also close, because every NÜM product is a 5pk, 5 cans of 20 for 100 pouches, which is the same pouch count as one FRE Mega Pack. NÜM ships by UPS within one business day and gives free standard shipping on every order.
Strengths: 3 to 15 vs 6 to 24
FRE offers five strengths, 3mg, 6mg, 9mg, 12mg and 15mg. NÜM offers three: 6mg, 12mg and 24mg. They share 6mg and 12mg. FRE has the 3mg, 9mg and 15mg steps that NÜM does not, and NÜM has a 24mg that FRE does not. If you want fine steps between 3mg and 15mg, FRE has more of them. If you want a strength above 15mg, NÜM's 24mg is the higher option.
NÜM labels 6mg as light, 12mg as medium and 24mg as strong, for experienced pouch users. The strength chart and the strength chart by brand show where each sits, and the 6mg, 12mg and 24mg guides explain each NÜM option.
Flavors
FRE keeps a tight list: Mint, Wintergreen, Sweet, Lush, Watermelon and Original. NÜM also has six flavors in two lines. The Ice Breaker Series is Cool Mint, Spearmint and Miami Mint. The Pink Burst Line is Pink Lemonade, Frosé and Guava Glow.
The mint overlap is easy: FRE Mint beside NÜM Cool Mint. FRE Watermelon and Lush (which FRE lists as tropical) sit nearest to NÜM's fruit line, especially Guava Glow, though no two brands taste the same. FRE has a Wintergreen and an Original that NÜM does not, and NÜM has Spearmint, Miami Mint, Pink Lemonade and Frosé, which FRE does not. See the NÜM Flavor Guide for each NÜM flavor.
Format and feel
FRE says its pouches are moist and "pre-primed" for a quick start of flavor. NÜM does not publish its pouch size or moisture on its site, so beyond what is on the can and product pages, the only way to compare feel is to try a single can. New to pouches? How to use nicotine pouches and how long nicotine pouches last cover the basics.
Which should you choose?
- Choose FRE if you want a 3mg, 9mg or 15mg option, or a Wintergreen, Watermelon or unflavored pouch.
