Tobacco-Free Nicotine Pouches: What "Tobacco-Free" Means at NÜM

NÜM nicotine pouches are for adults 21+ who already use nicotine.

Every NÜM pouch is tobacco-free. Here's what that means, what it doesn't mean, and how NÜM pouches are used.

What "tobacco-free" means

A tobacco-free nicotine pouch contains no tobacco leaf: no cut, ground or shredded tobacco. Instead, a nicotine pouch is a small pre-portioned pouch filled with a powder that contains nicotine and flavorings. That's the main difference between a nicotine pouch and traditional dip or snus, which are made with tobacco leaf.

What "tobacco-free" doesn't mean

Tobacco-free is not nicotine-free. Every NÜM pouch contains nicotine, in 6mg, 12mg or 24mg per pouch. Nicotine is addictive, and NÜM is sold only to adults 21 and over.

How NÜM tobacco-free pouches are used

  • Place one pouch between your gum and upper lip.
  • There's nothing to light, no smoke and no spitting.
  • When you're done, throw the used pouch away in the trash.

Six tobacco-free flavors

Ice Breaker Series (blue cans): Cool Mint, Spearmint and Miami Mint. Shop the mints.

Pink Burst Line (pink cans): Pink Lemonade, Frosé and Guava Glow, restocking soon. See the fruit line.

Three strengths

Each flavor comes in 6mg (light), 12mg (medium) and 24mg (strong). Choose the strength closest to your usual nicotine intake, and start lower if you're not sure. See the strength chart, or go straight to 24mg nicotine pouches if you're an experienced user.

Nicotine pouches vs snus

They look similar and both sit under the lip, but snus is made with tobacco and nicotine pouches aren't. Read the full comparison: Nicotine Pouches vs Snus: What's the Difference?
